Objectives

  • To ensure all completed and compliant applications for business and industrial licences, entertainment licences, temporary permits, night and day market licences are processed accordingly within the stipulated period.
  • To ensure all licence renewal and updating are processed accordingly and within the stipulated period.
  • To provide business control and enforcement services to all business activities for better prosperity of Kajang Municipal Council area, in line with the applicable Acts and By-Laws.

To establish the Kajang Municipal Council area as a strategic, comfortable and safe business location.

Functions

  • To process applications of new business and industrial licence, entertainment licence, temporary permit, night and day market licences
  • To process the renewal of all temporary licences and permits.
  • To process the cancellation/updating/refund of temporary licence and permit deposits.
  • To control the issuance of all types of temporary licences and permits.
  • To conduct technical and regulations compliance inspection.
  • To control and exercise enforcement on business premises and licensed advertisements.
  • To investigate and resolve public complaints.
